lol I'm thinking about getting myself a "little" tank for work. Bicolour blenny in a 100L tank with a few shrimp, and a couple of LPS and leathers. Do waterchanges with water from my main tank Was thinking about a freshie tank for work, to help in the "boring" bits of the day, but.. naaaaahhh.

Prfft only 800 galon reef? Try something cooler. a "Window" looking through your house. Outer window viewable from outside 1inch thick arcrylic (fully fenced section ofc), so that the tank gets massive outdoor light as well. (upper sotry) 1.5 m wide, 1m deep, 3m long. Special skylights to allow sun to hit the tank continually all year round. I've been dreaming And no, I have no clue how to clean the other side of the arcylic Oh well.

If you started with FOWLR, and then got additional lighting for corals, you could probably spread the cost out fairly well. IE, start with 4x T5s, tank, good quality rock, sump, return & a couple of reef-safe fish Month later get the skimmer Then get lighting then get corals.

hmm, looks like one of my budgets. I budget all my bills, spend money accordingly, save money accordingly, and then go oh crap, I forgot about xx bill for xxx, and then i have -ve as well.

Note all the LITTLE changes you've made to your tank to make it better & nicer to live with. - Moved the Durso from picking up 15cm from the lip of the overflow to 2cm above the lip of the overflow.
