  1. Braces on what - the tank or stand?
  2. I find the manouvering through door ways to be the bigger issue, especially if they are only single width doors with no more than a corridors space lengthwise to turn them n.
  3. I totally agree with Caryl. In the past I have fund that if only one eye is affected it's normally an injury. The red spots will be bruising. Just monitor the fish and the fighting n the tank. Do you have broken lines of sight, ie things in the tank like rocks so fish can hide from each other?
  4. If they have spawned and she iis doing that to him already it Willonly get worse once they are free swimming. You need to remove him before she kills him which she is likely to do. Only one parent can easily raise the fry even in a Community tank.
  5. Have a great meeting! A reminder that Capitations are due from all members to be with me prior to the end of this month. Please make sure ou give the secretary your forum names if you are n the fish room otherwise you will lose access to the members only section. Please also check that existing details are correct ie telephone numbers and addresses. Thanks
  6. Glad you are enjoying yourselves.
  7. Best wishes for a successful and enjoyable conference.
  8. Personally I think you did the right thing, and I am sure owners of pedigree bitches will agree with you. Auckland City Council charges big Rego fees for Dogs not fixed, with just reason and I know the SPCA will be delighted.
  9. Well what can I say. Grow your hair long, it suits you and wear a dress every day.
  10. I am currently in Rwanda and plastic bags are an illegal item.
  11. :sml1: Here, I'll dig the hole for her. :digH:
  12. where is mine? Checked the mailbox at the Silverback Lodge and it's not here yet.
  13. A reminder to all affiliated clubs that your members Capitations are now due. Would you please complete the excel spread sheet which I believe has been sent to your office bearers and return by email to me as soon as possible. A reminder that every column on the sheet needs to be filled in for each member. Payment can be made via online banking (please make sure you give your club as a reference) or by cheque. Payment is due prior to the end of June 2012 and receipts will be issued at this time. Thanks for your help with making this as easy as possible for me. Adrienne Dodge FNZAS Treasurer
  14. My son did when he was in the 7th form. Got through the Wellington prt, then spent a week long camp at Whenuapai. Passed all with flying colors but was told he was too young and to reapply in 2 years. He is now a physics, chem and Maths teacher.
  15. Currently in Nairobi, flight to Kisumu delayed for three hours. Would not ever choose to live here but they people are lovely. Visited a school today for children from the Nairobi slum. I can't post Pics on here but my photos are on my Facebook page.
  16. This is our 3rd day at Victoria falls. Brilliant weather, magnificent sights! Well worth the extra travel to get here. We leave tomorrow for Kenya.
  17. Well I am not back until July and at that stage will be deciding what to do with my spare tanks.
  18. Not under that name - the search function asking for the author does work. May have a different name on the fishroom though.
  19. If you do want to go to this size I have a tank and stand which would be perfect for you.
  20. I googled this for ages and despite it being for sale through many chinese web sites, not one tells you how it is supposed to work. It is just like a biro so I suspect either you squash the flea with the point of it or perhaps although unlikely it is battery operated and gives the flea a zap.

White spot has a 7-10 day cycle so you need to treat for a good 10 days. Vacuuming up cysts on the bottom of the tank will also assist. You can speed up the cycle by increasing your tank temperature. If you can, try and work out what is stressing the fish as white spot is always present, its just that when fish are weak or stressed it takes hold.
  23. Happy Easter to you Zeebee and to everyone else.
