  7. if you don't have a fluidised reactor I would use the seachem phosphate remover
  8. for a good beginners tank i would reccommend 3ft with lots of front to back space. big enough to do some decent rockwork and so the parameters are stabler, but not so big that Its is a mission to look after or expensive (equipment-wise)

    cool. the peppermint will be hiding. most shrimps are pretty shy except ghost shrimps and cleaners
  17. I don't know how successful he will be in either tank really. Bumblebee gobies are, as you say Brackish fish, and are very shy- they are best in species only tanks... The problem with your Killie tank is that it will be soft water (presumably) and Bumblebees prefer hard water.
