You can get that stuff at Garden Stores Zev. I have used it before to make lids for frog tanks etc... Its quite cheap too.

you would need lots of lighting for the veges to grow unless you piped it from outside to your tank inside. Lots of reefers do this with Mangrove setups to reduce nitrates.

yep Its alot more yellow in real life though

if there are only a few, pick them off WITHOUT breaking them. The are usually easier to pick off when they get a bit bigger (60mm or so). If you have an infestation you need to take the rock out and torch/screwdiver/wire brush them and wash the rock well afterwards. Mexican Red Legged Hermits supposedly eat them but we can't get them in NZ

U have your sump up and running yet? just put filter wool where the overflow goes into the sump and change weekly. Lots of people in the US use Cannister filters for carbon and phosphate removers but they don't get rid of nitrates so are usually not reccomended on Reefs Long term- Fine on FO tanks

Thanks. I am not going to get Discus anymore... My New Wishlist for that tank is as follows: 40x Glowlights 40xNeons 15x corys 6x Blue rams 6x clown loaches and Maybe: 1x elephantnose 6x Gourami

24 currently. I'm trying to find my camera at the moment. It has been missing for a week. Tank now has 15 glowlights and the Anubias nana is growing like a weed in the 40Watts of lighting
