  1. phosphate reading would be nill because the cyano would be using the phosphates so the wouldn't be any in the water column (thats my reasoning anyway.) Most phosphate kits are too crap to pick up phosphates unless they are way high
  2. yeah, I like that one, and of course that one from singapore, can't remember who's it is but ben posted pics of it on this website a few months back. And Acropora mans 500gal tank is looking very good too

  6. the ultimate idea would be to have the Water in the waterfall and pond completley seperate from the water for irrigation. At one stage I had a 300L terrarium set up for whistling tree frogs and I first tried to have a pond by having no plants or soil in that area of the tank (In other words i had a 10cm layer of gravel in all areas of the tank except the pond area and the soil plants etc sat ontop of the gravel. This didn't work though as all the muck gets into the pond really quick and I ended up with a fake pond in the tank.
  7. red sea is pretty cheap if you buy the big bags. You are only making it half strength remember.
  8. buy a small group rather than a single one and they will like you alot more for it

    nano streams are good and small. Cheap if you get them on Sale too. Seio's are bigger and cheaper but haven't personally had many problems with the Seio

  14. Menu or tonight- raw Earthworms out of the garden with a quick wash in water and a light coat of garlic... MMM tasty
