all my fish love frozen bloodworms but dont like dried tubifex. Can you get live bloodworm I used to feed live bloodworm years ago but never seen it in any fish shops? cheers Jim.

I threw my ferns out and left them all winter in a plastic container behind the garage where there is hardly any light and they survived.I took pity and brought them back in and they are starting to thrive again. cheers Jim.

Hi Murray i have a via aqua and fluval 204 both work fine only downside i have found is when i restart them i usually end up having to syphon. cheers jim.

Called into local vet centre and saw 2 beautiful balla sharks approx 13cm only $9 each and because i bought them they gave me a full size white angel FREE! Now i am overstocked and need another tank (sneaked that one past the missus) Out goes the settee(rehoused in the garage of our 2 bed rented unit ) in comes another 4foot tank and so the revolution begins. Nz curiers do same day delivery from akl to Tauranga and i think if you catch the morning run they shuttle to Te puke cost approx $12 per 5kg or .025 cu. mtr. Or you could pick up at Tauranga depot to save time. cheers Jim.

surgical gloves are really cheap these days u can buy them anywhere and if u use talc they can be used over and over again. just put elastic bands over the wrists and it works perfectly with no restriction.Worked for me when the hospital slashed my wrists and let me live!(foolish people had their chance) carpel tunnel. cheers Jim.

if you go to a kitchen / joiner they will probably give you a cover sheet for free i once worked for a joiner and we often had to throw them out, as well as having mdf they will also have meltica cover sheets,they would also sell you the proper fittings for assembly. cheers Jim.
