  1. i feed mozzie larvae & water boatmen, pretty easy to breed.
  2. & before you buy something phone a local garage or similar & see what they say about what ever you are looking at. they may tell you they are good & don't often see them or the story could be they are rich as they work on them all the time.
  3. no not all, i prefer to do it properly than run the risk of a disaster. its an idea being shelved not binned, the time will come. 8)
  4. thanks for help, it seems that i cannot easily integrate them with what i am prepared to do so i think i shall shelve the idea for now.
  5. i have orpingtons & shavers, i would put orpingtons in the heavy catagory do they battle?
  6. i already have a bigger pen than that for the chooks, what height do they need to be? i am planning an enclosure thats around 8 meters square so i don't have to let them out so much, will they live with chooks sucessfully & eat the same foods?
  7. so they need to be fenced in to stay on the property? hmm, my chooks free range so i only have a small enclosure for them but was planning a much larger one.... probably not as large as a pheasant would enjoy.
  8. Hi all, i am keen to get a pheasant or pheasants as pets. I am sure i have heard they make good friendly pets, is this correct? What is there to look out for? is it better to get small chicks or yearlings? I also have chooks. Anything else you can advise will be good.
  9. you could at least be accurate when being unhelpful, from mexico to malawi it's 9316 miles (14993 km) (8096 nautical miles) 684 miles will add around an hour flying time.
  10. here's a link to a gallery of africans that may help you, i found it really difficult when i was starting out in africans to find out what was what. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/a ... allery.php

  12. wow, a banana's in pyjamas pleco
  13. using a trailer could be an issue IMO if it is a single axle with no springs as the bouncing might cause a breakage. if you must use a single axle, unsprung trailer i would soften the tyres as much as you can without them running flat to lessen the bounce. Um, i think i have convinced myself that a trailer will be ok.
  14. are they fryeri? who you get them from?
  15. sorry, i couldn't resist sounding like i know something about these stripped jersey wearing BN's just once. :-?
  16. well my guess would be pretty pecklotia, i suggest you look in it's the mouth to know if it is or not as clown plecos have been brought in under this name to. 8)

  20. not sure why he died but this is part of keeping fish, loosing them.
  21. correct gasoline direct injection. i have one & they are pigs, all of them. they work like a diesel rather than the traditional fuel injection, mine does around 700ks to 60L which is great & i only keep it as i have mates that are mechanics 8) . they weren't supposed to be exported from japan so were only designed to have a short life & there is very little repair info available.
  22. haha nice, if its a GDI don't buy it!
