maybe the original post of this thread could be moved to the tail of the original thread so people not familiar with the original thread can know what's happening

totally, but the facts are what ever info is available of what ever the problem is that requires 30% somethings 3 times a day. let me rephrase that, what can you tell us about what is wrong so we can give you our opinion from our experience

feed more then there will be no problem, i doubt it's worms & pics won't help.

what problem are you refering to??? there are many different opinions on some things, what are the facts?

good luck with things improving, it could always be worse though.

i saw them a couple of weeks ago, got a great view of 5 tails & that was it. they were all burying themselves behind an ornament or rock (what ever it was)

they also have a ducks bill that goes on the end of the spray bar of canisters.

maybe selling them on the quiet between friends etc, i would have thought they may have cropped up in LFS's if there were a few being bred though. perhaps there are hard to breed & there haven't been many successful spawns.

it was created shortly after was it not? i would have thought the early members would have been aware of them, possibly traded them through the contact but are no longer active members of this site, just a thought. there may be plenty of them out there & we just don't hear about them. maybe caryl can remember the early days.

so if there were a few around & they were breeding & selling for $80 what happened to them? there must be many around, probably ex fnzas site members i would expect?

it may be a "real" zebra, there are people that have had them for a number of years.

she may hold full term or may eat them, what happens will be what happens

that's written/filmed/performed/produced etc by students anyway isn't it?

why are you worried? she should be fine, the male will most likely calm down now he has had his way

i had a black background with the likes of fryeri, yellows, red & blue zebras & it worked well with white oragonite substrate. not so good for the trophs now as they are black but you can't suit everything & i will change it at some point.

keep watching, they could breed over the course of a few hours.

i know you did but you don't call to buy if your happy for your stock to sit especially when you have a good chance to get considerably less than retail.

my LFS always gives me a special price on orders as they don't have the risk of it not selling or taking a long time to sell & they have the $ up front. a $1 auction is a call to buy not branding. if they weren't worried about them sitting there then i don't think they would be having a $1 auction on TM, the price will most likely be less, possibly a considerable amount than the retail price they could receive through the shop & on top of that they will pay trademe fees which on a value of that is what, $75 or so? i agree that it is good they stocked them, but if i was the buyer i think i would have had 3 in each store as there was always the chance to order more. maybe they will enlighten us with their input.

was that a good business decision or not? who are now forced to run $1 auctions to sell them. these are never going to be a impulse buy so stocking them is a huge risk. If i had a pet store selling fish i probably would have printed a picture & tacked it onto one of the tanks with a note saying they were available on special order & the price for such a transaction. that way there would have been no risk & probably a very reasonable price to entice the customer into a big risk for themselves. did you pay retail for that aro you ordered in or you get a better price for the order?
