Well i have some killis in my community tank a while ago i thought i would stick a mop ijn coz a couple of the girls looked fat. I wasnt really expecting anything but today i checked the mop and i have 20 or so eggs. Only prob is that i dont know which pair they came from.
I think the parents are most likely my dageti or my notho yellows coz they have been hanging around the mop.
So the question is what do i do now?
Oh also
would anyone in Welly be keen to maybe pop in once or twice to see if the fishes are ok? Im going to get a neighbour to feed them but i would like a fishy person to make sure things are ok.
I would be willing to pay for petrol and your time.
Hey guys
We will be going home to Rotorua for a few weeks over the holidays and other than Wonderworld is there anywhere/anyone we should visit.
We were planning to do some road trips up to Auckland and over to Tauranga.
Id be really keen to go to some places have more than Animates usually does.. like some different malawis or dwarf puffers (sigh)
Oh and we will be making the trip up on the 22 or 23rd of dec and back from Rotorua on the 7th of Jan if anyone needs a free courier.
Hey guys
A few weeks ago my boyfriend boufht some leopard fish and when i was feeding them this morning i noticed one of the females had developed a bend in her spine. Shes seems fine otherwise.
What do i do?
to get around the falling rocks i was told to put polystyrene in the tank then the rocks on that and then the substrate. It means fishes cant dig under the rocks. I also spent hours finding a spot for each rock so they are al really stable. I havent had any problems so far.
Hey i have malawi cichlids.
I used limestone rocks and lime chip as these keep the Ph up.
They love all the caves and dont seem to mind not having sand.
im rasing my hi fin swordtails at the mo, and a few of them have come through with twin bars, which is cool. I also seem to have some cool half silver half orange ones.
Well i set mine up yesterday and i have bbs today. I have it on a window sill to help with heat. its quite convenient to get the out tho. I feed ome this morning and still have some left so not too bad.
oh yeah i reackon it would be cool and i would love to get a job, though i dont have a marine bio degree. Lol. We will just haveto find a new picnic spot.
