My boyfriend and I decided that the 6 tanks we had were just too much effort (I know some of you have many many more and i dont know how you do it ) and we were not getting as much enjoyment from the fish as we did so we decided to sell up all the tanks. After finding that i was reluctant to sell my clown loaches and Chris still wanted a tank we ended up buying an Aquaone 980 - so much for selling up - its a disease i tell you :lol: ! We have set this up, its planted and is currently home to my 6 clowns and some neon rainbows. Problem is we cant decide on what else we want. I have done malawi cichlids, an asian tank and an amazon tank as well as some other random things and i kind of want to do something different. Chris wanted a ghost kinfe, or a tiger datinoid and i would be keen for somethig different. I was also contemplating discus. (Ideally i could fill it full of puffers but i still cant get my hands on any :evil: ) So i would really appreciate some of your wisdom, advice or ideas on what we can do...cos i have no idea :lol:

Ive got one thank with aquatic mix and small gravel and my other is aquatic mix and propagating sand. I would have to say that the gravel is my favourite.

Im not actualy trying to breed them at the moment they have just been doing it themselves. I will give them their own tank when i can make some space for them

Ive got a tap being posted to me so it should all work out fine! Just not keen to have to swap them over. Im not very careful when it comes to dealing with water and i keep getting told off for spilling stuff :oops:

yup i had the leaky tap but im am getting posted a replacement. Other than that i think they are great.

mine never seem interested in the food i put in but im sure they get enough from there cleaning efforts.

oh yeah i should add that the first try wasnt sucessful as the decided to eat the eggs.

yay my rams have laid again except this time it is on a patch of gravel. Why they chose there and not one of the 3 pots that are in there i dont know. They are doing a good job of defending them against the angels and GBAs but im not sure how long they will last

I just wanted to say that i started with a couple and i really loved them now i have 5 and they kinda play toghther and chase each other round which is really cool

wow thats interesting it is a cf1200. I got it through trademe from petmart. I cant find my reciept though. I have emailed them and will see what they say. I tried a bit of vasilene over the priming cap and that seems to have stopped it.
