  1. Thanks Would a filter be alright, i hear that dwarf honey gourami fry can be very small
  2. Hey guys In the weekend i swapped two of my boys for two of Billaneys girls, due to a my original "girls" turning into boys. This has done the trick and my boy is starting to bulid a bubble nest. Only problem is that it is in a community tank. And my siamese fighter kepts breaking it up. I have an empty 13L tank which i intend to move them into. I am thinking of filling it with water from my community tank, but the tank wont be properly cycled. Is this going to be a problem??? Do i put gravel in as well??? Any help would be much appreciated!!!

  8. Hi guys i want to say hello to you all and thank you for your excellent site. I live in Wellington and I am a student as well as a swim teacher (im a bit of a fish). After putting up with tiddly little 20L coldwater tanks since i was a kid i have finally got a big tank. well not as big as i would like but i like in a little flat so it is big enough...for now. It is an 85L octagonal tank and i have 3 platies (all boys so no babies), a siamese fighter and 4 dwarf honey gouramis (that were all boys until Paul kindly swapped 2 of my boys for girls. Yay!) Im not to sure as to how many i should have in there but the tank has been going for about 2 moths now with no incidents. If any one has any ideas or comment please feel free to let me know. I look forward to hearing from all of you! Michelle
