i need a sucky fish for my cichlid tank as i am starting to grow lots of brown algae. What do you guys reccomend? I dont want anything that is going to be huge or tempermental. :-?

ive found platys to be really hardy and i think they would be great. I wouldnt go for neons but thats just me. :lol:

some place will do vinegar, or else you just take your fish and chips home and put it on. My mum is originally from Ireland and i picked up the vinegar thing from her, but i perfer tomato sauce!!! Has anyone ever heard of cheesy weesys? My boyfriend sometimes gets them, its chips and they put cheese, tomato sauce and tartare sauce on it. I think it is also called road kill or chips and muck. Pretty gross in my opinion but he seems to like it. I went to england a while ago and i fell in love with dandilion and burrdock, which we dont have over here. Got L&P though, which is good.

I have a cichlid in a tank with others. I have notice that he and only he has these little spasms where it looks like he is shivering. Anyone know what is up with him?

Killies are cool, check out the killi section. Mine are in my community tank and the reason it got introduced is that the eggs can/need to be dried out before they hatch.

my fighters have a go at them, i dont know if they are successful, they love it when i crush them.

I have those two brown ones who get squished and i have red ramshorns who i just let do there thing but the population is kept under control as my fish like to eat the eggs

ive read that as long as there is enough of their own species for them to breed with they will be less likely to resort to others that sorta look the same. :-?

Id be keen for some as well, and i could maybe combine postage with Billaney if you are willing to ship ????
