Very nice but have you got any pics of the females? or one that looks like them? I have a feeling the ones I have found may not be A.hongsloi (just females no males) and I'm not sure what they are but the closet pic I can find that remsembles them are A.viejita. Like I said it is probably one of the older model tanks but would have been sitting in the shop for awhile.

It is quite well known that the filter pumps on the earlier model Juwels are crap. Just take the pump back to where you brought the tank from and tell them and they should replace it for free. I have had my Rio 180 since December last year and have only had the filter pump go but I don't use the Juwel heater either.

I reckon you should get a school of Mosqueito Rasbora and Celestrial Danios, I know the Danios are expensive e.g $21each but they look pretty cool or Furcatus Rainbows.

Yeah I do. I thought that they might so just as well I have a spare tank that has already set up for months just waiting for something to go into. I'm going to have a go at breeding them. I will take some pics once I have got them.

Do you guys think a pair of A.hongsloi's would be alright in my Juwel Rio 180 that is already housing 2 x German Blue Rams?

Instead of using that Jebo light why not use something that puts out less light but still light enough so they come out? what about those small cheap LED strips you can get from Dick Smiths? maybe have 1 blue and 1 white? I couldn't find them on their website but they do have them.

I know I saw them at Mt Roskill a few weeks back but not sure about Albany. Give them a ring. I'm sure they were cheaper than $45ea as well.

HFF Albany and when I was living in Chch Organisms. I don't think he ships yet but was looking into it last I heard.

Heard that if you go dive out at the bay of islands during summer you can see them.
