Rung them this morning and they don't have any. I rung Palmers in Pakuranga and they have it for $14.90. A wee bit of a drive but its the only place I have called or been into that have it so will pick some up today. Hmmmm now what sort of sand should I put on top of it?

I rung kings garden centre and someone brought all of theirs today. They are going to ring around and get back to me.

Does anyone know where I can get Daltons Aquatic mix and Propogating sand from in or around Papakura? I've tried Mitre 10 Mega and Bunnings and neither have it.

1 metre wide? or in length? not sure about ready made but I would just diy. You could do one for about $150, maybe a little more.

Depends how much you are wanting to spend and what you plan on growing in your tank. Personally I would strip it out and replace with LEDs.

No, thats not what I said. I'm wanting a background that is more 3d than the Juwel ones without having to pay the $1000 NZD of the Back to Nature or Aquaterra ones. I have had a few of the Juwel rock backgrounds before and did like them but they aren't as 3d as I would like.

The aqua one ones look like crap. I have thought about making my own but I want it to look real :sml1:

Does anyone know of someone that makes 3d aquarium backgrounds? I know juwel sells them but they are expensive and I am looking for something a little more 3d like the Back to Nature or Aquaterra ones.

Those are some awesome looking fish. Great to see some decent fish coming into NZ. -
I wouldn't worry too much about the maintenance as they turn the sand over anyway, well my peacocks do.

I am wanting some advice from you lake malawi experts. Am I allowed to post links from trademe of some that I am looking at buying? just want to see what people think of the fish e.g. are they hybirds/ selling under the right name etc.
