My girls normally spit after I move them to their own tank, must be the content thing :lol: I reckon 2 weeks is a good time.. I think it depends how well she is doing with her crop full..

I used to do the ice bottle thing for my show rabbits... in the summer I would put one in each hutch.. for them to lay against to keep cool.
I think if it came to fish, I would use a fan.. I know how time consuming the bottle thing was for 32 show bunnies :lol: Wouldn't want to go back to filling and refilling and argggggggggggh :lol: And the freezer space just gets eaten up!

Always had Juris and other rock gobblers in with plants :lol: never had a problem, give them enough room for them to sift substrate and they are fine and dandy.. My pair around the 20 cm mark. Infact they laid their last lot of eggs on a broad leafed Crypt
