You should watch some gourami eat - they are forever sucking it in and spitting it out, I am surprised that they even get to digest anything after the other fish have eaten what they spit out.
A Co2 proof non return valve would help, if you put the bottle above the tank, make sure it is secure and can't be knocked over otherwise it will run into the tank as well.
If the pressure is not sufficient in your system it may siphon as well, check that it is not leaking anywhere.
Maybe he has too many toys?
My Father was most annoyed when he bought our daughter a little dog toy when she was a toddler, he offered it to her to play with and she shied away from it - when he squeezed it and it made a noise, she instantly burst into tears. Consequently she spent the rest of the morning playing quite happily with the inside of a Mallowpuff packet - he was not amused!
Hi dodgem, can you please put your location in via the User Control Panel, then the rest of us do not have to try and guess where you are.
Good luck with the turtle, DonnaM has patiently nursed many sick turtles back to good health.
I have a 304 that I would like to kick at times, now I have to position it at an angle in a polybox for it to run without rattling and the flow dropping down to nothing.
I also have a 104 that runs like a dream, but if I recall when having a look at the replacement parts diagram, the 304 and 404's are constructed differently motor wise than the 104 and 204.
Too late, I saw it
Don't worry Whetu, it was not something you would want to see....
Congrats on the tanks and placings, they look great, now why doesn't anyone submit full tank shots for POTM?
They get like that every now and then, on the Rotala the leaves never grow back down the stem, so I just nip them off and replant them shorter!
I had some of the stuff you have, lost it though, I think they like HEAPS of light.
It depends on the branch, the one in Napier will do the certification and refills with food grade Co2.
I think my 2.5kg bottle cost about $30.00 to fill a couple of years back. It is just an old fire extinguisher bottle.
Places like BOC will only fill bottles that they rent to you.
Don't know about Air Liquide - we do not have a branch around here.
