  1. She would have to put some heat pads in the polybox so that it gets to you ready to eat!
  2. Try here, there is a calculator that works for gallons or litres, it does not, however take the depth of the tank into consideration. http://www.fitchfamily.com/lighting.html I grew some of the plants you mentioned in a 54l tank with great success only using a double 15w fitting with the lamps that came with the fitting - can't remember the brand. No ferts or Co2 and I was dredging the Ambulia out weekly because it grew too fast and shaded the hairgrass on the bottom.
  3. http://www.typingtest.com/ - select the 'Tigers in the wild' - the Astronaut on has too much punctuation! I got Net Speed: 41 WPM (words/minute) Accuracy: 91% Gross Speed: 45 WPM (words/minute) Used to be able to do 60wpm when we did the TCB tests...
  4. Ok, enough with the ideas concerning the cat, I have removed several posts regarding this. The problem here is not the cat, but what the flatmates have done in Phoenix's absence, and it would be more constructive to offer ideas on how to sort this out, rather than pick on the cat.
  5. Is there one for me - I am waiting for number five :bounce: In regard to the weather, one of the locals here said that when the pressure dropped suddenly their sterbais would spawn.
  6. Valrhona... mmmmmmm... Dammit, oeminx, now I want some, preferably in the big chunks that you have to cut up with a cleaver, not the little button stuff.
  7. For goodness sake, it is sight, not site - you are not a teenager engaging in text-speak, pull your socks up, Wok!
  8. Tsk tsk, Wok - I don't think that is the sort of thing they want to hear!
  9. Gee Caryl, you two are so tinny at these Roadshow things - didn't you win some stuff last year as well?
  10. Ugh... I would really hate to think what sort of stuff I have swallowed starting the siphon I just see it as a way of building up a good resistance to bugs - no hand sanitisers or antibacterial soaps in our house!
  11. How big are the Harlequins? Ours didn't last very long, and they were quite big when we got them, and half of them spent most of the time hiding from the others who would bully them, and they got whitespot at the drop of a hat, and got weird lumpy bits or fungussy looking stuff on them from fighting.... Consequently we don't have them anymore, gave the last two away!
  12. Just because you can't train them not to be carpet fish, Wok!
  13. Stop it, you teaser!!!! Dang, where is the drool smilie?
  14. We have that as well for our business, Airnet, better upload speed as well. Phantom, I was a bit wary of the 'new' plan, the suspicious bit was what they call 'peak times' 9.00am to 2.00am, it gives you a pretty small window for the faster speed. We are on the Adventure plan at the moment, and I think we will stick to it for now.
  15. His brother shifted house, and they came up with some excuse as to why he could not continue with the plan.
  16. Ok, skite, why don't you. My nephew is never shifting house so that he does not loose this plan!
  17. Is anyone on this? I am interested to know if you notice any reduction in speed during 'peak times' from your old plan. Thanks

    name my rooster

Noname? Just don't name him Joe Blogg - I have a work colleague called this, ok, she is Jo, but it sounds the same, and you have to be sooo careful when explaining things to students and need a name for an example!
  19. That Sam is a unisex name... It could be a contraction of any of the following - Samuel, Samson, Samantha, Samara, Samira
  20. Perhaps he meant that Sam is a unisex name?
  21. Ok, I am going to split this topic before Jim growls at me, the gender half is now in the Off Topic forum.
  22. Meeeybee, meybee not..... See, you were interested in getting your post count up!!!!
