  1. What the hell oscarboy?!?!?! why would you post that? pointless.... This is from the geonet site Pretty scary!
  2. We felt it here in Te puke! It was a doozy alright! I was holding my planted tank as it is not on the most stable of stands at the moment  Still need to get it attached to the floor!! I can imagine what it would have been like in whakatane! it was scary enough here! man i hate them
  3. I wouldn't add any new type of fish, just increase the numbers of what you have already got. Get some more tetras, a few more clown loaches (as they like big groups anyway) and add another couple BN
  4. Lol, Rhetorical question buddy I've got a bit of cash ATM too, but its just about to be spent on a mountain bike
  5. Go, you try  How much money you got?
  6. If you want it to make a statement, then you need something spectacular. A big planted tank, an african tank with heaps of colorful africans (everyone loves electric yellows) or a biotope tank. If it were mine, i'd make it a blackwater biotope. HEAPS of driftwood, sandy substrate and peat filtered water. Fishwise i'd have Uaru and Discus. AWESOME!!!! OR, fill it full of Demasoni :bounce: :bounce:
  7. ryan was right. Epsom salt or peas.
  8. Don't you just love shotguns? Me and my mates often go out with a shotgun and a .22 Theres usually about 8 of us, but we only take two guns. Everyone else has a baseball bat and is ready to run We don't go possum shooting as such, we go possum Bashing
  9. Mate, i already have another two cars  My van will be sold once i get this thing going, and i have my sisters car to drive for 5 months or so, but i need to do a wheel bearing on it before i can get it a warrant. So yea, i don't have a shortage of cars to drive, and have been on the road for ages
  10. Well digging up an old post, i have finally got the new engine in. Pulled the old one out ages ago and its been sitting there doing nothing for a little while. Bought the engine crane home from work tonight and went to work Paul_r came around at about 6, and as soon as he left i lifted the engine up off the garage floor and put all the engine mounts and a few other little covers that go on the bottom of the engine and box on (flywheel cover etc) and wheeled it out to the car. By 8 oclock the engine was in and all the mounts were done up. Did it all by myself, except for a little bit where i held the engine in place and mum dropped the engine crane on my command  The final drop to get it sitting fully on the mounts i did myself though 8) Holding an engine in position and dropping an engine crane at the same time is not fun, but possible! Hopefully in about a week i will have it running, and then we should be all go. By the way, i ended up lifting it out the top. Was easy as, and IMO was the easiest way to do it. I reckon that dropping an engine out the bottom would be easier if the engine was still fully assembled, but the one i took out had no manifolds, head, auxillaries etc on it, so was only a block and G/box. If i did it on a hoist i would take it out the bottom
  11. I reckon that two people could lift it if they were reasonably strong, but 4 would be best.
  12. Wicked man! Wish you all the best with them! and i hope by now you are a member of the NZKA?!?!?! Have you got Mops in with them yet? Put some in and you will have eggs in no time!! Oh, and feel free to ask questions, us killi people are more than happy to help! Yeeehaaaaaaa

Can't answer your question sorry jude but the search function does still work. it searches the FNZAS site through google, instead of the normal 'forum' way.
