  3. Yeap gotta admit the website is a it vague aye, As far as I know Wet Pets in Palmy North sell it and I think Grant at Levin Petworld is stocking it too now, I'm popping into see Grant tomorrow so will have a lookies and let you know if you want me to? If you want to tell me what you are looking for, I could try and get it for you, I'm happy to put it on the courier for you if that helps. I'm heading up to Palmy this week sometime. Lynda
  4. Hi WTM> By the sounds of what you are describing, I would say you have 1 male and 3 females. Now I"m sure your only Male will be Happy about that, having 3 Girlies all to himself. Maybe wait another month or so and check again, to see if there is any change.   Lynda

    Hi, I'm new!

Welcome Mel1708, Great to have you here, I'm sure there will be a few Axolotyl and Newt owners on here somewhere. Absolutely wonderful site, full of very knowledgeable people, just remember, it doesn't matter how small the question is ,"if you don't ask you wont know". Happy Fishing :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Lynda

  7. Hi Guys, I'm currently looking at buying a new external filter, I dont know alot about these, and was hoping for some good advice, which will help me decide on which one is best suited for my needs. I am currently running an Internal Resun Magic Jet 1000, (1000LpH), this is running in a 330ltr Freshwater Tank. Can anyone recommend a suitable External that I can replace this filter with? Thanks Guys Lynda
  8. Hi Taniwha, Really Sorry to hear you are having a bad run with your Clown Loaches, I have 4 Clown Loaches and they to every now and then swim up and down the side of the tank in just the same way that you are discribing yours to be doing. You could try doing more water changes, my clown loaches love the new water, makes them go quite nutty really, and as for meds, as Sharn and Luke have said PLEASE BE CAREFUL, as scaleless fishys in my opinion, can be Killed by dosing with meds that are to strong for them. I only use Meds as a very last resort. Anyways do hope your last surviving Loach will pull through. Please keep us posted on how he is doing. Lynda

    Speed's Tank

Well what can I say, Totally breathtaking as Pegasus said, man I sooo want a tank that looks like this. Great work speed, keep it up. Lynda
  17. Excellent Info Paul. I found this very interesting, as they say "you learn something new everyday". Lynda
  18. I have exactly the same problem T, damn annoying aye, my Angel Bubba tank is by the window, it also gets no direct sunlight, it doesn't seem to matter how much water I take out of it or how much water I put in it , it is always green. Think maybe I might just try adding some Plants as Paul suggested, and see if this makes any difference. Lynda
  19. Yes, Paul it is called Levin Petworld, Grant will be very pleased that you are recommending his new shop, Major changes have taken place and I go and visit Grant quite regularly, as I am his best customer ( so he tells me )not sure that the new shop will be open when you come thru tho Zev, I know he's not far off opening, he's having a big Open Day, but not to sure when this is. Wet Pet has definitely gotta be on the List aye, Eric has the tankies set up beautifully, well worth a lookies. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Lynda
  20. Hi smcoleman, Are these Kribs are in a Comm Tank, if they are, they are probably feeling threatened by the other fishys that are around, which will not be helping the situation. I think you have 2 options: Leave Mum and Dad alone, sometimes it takes a few spawnings for Mum and Dad to learn what they should and shouldn't be doing. I had this same problem with my Angels when they spawned, I just let them be and now I have no problems at all, after about the 4th Spawning they worked it all out by themselves. OR As soon as the eggs have been laid you could either remove Mum and Dad, and place them into another tank or remove the eggs and place these into another tank. Good Luck Lynda
  21. Awesome stuff Aaron, Would love to see some pickies aye. Sounds like Mum and Dad are definitely doing something right. :bounce: :bounce: Lynda
  22. Hey Weka, Have you had a lookies in the DIY Section, I'm sure I saw some good threads in there, about how to go about doing this. Maybe use the Search feature in the FNZAS part not google. Lynda
  23. To be honest Vickih, I dont think this tankies would be big enough for 1-2 Angels, let alone other fishies aswell, maybe try something smaller like neons, cardinal tertas, WCMM, Glowlights, I think they would be far better suited to a tank of this size, theres lots of smaller fishy's to choose from. Happy Fishing :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Lynda
