  5. Hi Jo and Willy, Believe me, you are not alone with this problem, I too have had several Dwarf Gouramis, and they have all died over several weeks. Really sorry for the losses that you have had. The only way I found to deal with this problem is to steer clear of them, this in time saves you money and heartache. Good Luck with your next lot if you decide to go ahead and get some more.   Lynda

  13. Hi mat692, My Silver Dollars used to love to be fed, Lettuce leaves, Zucchinni, Cucumber, Shelled Peas, Spinach Leaves, Silverbeet Leaves and anything that is plant like really, if you don't supply these sorts of things for them, they will strip you're plants bare, if you have any in the tank that they are in. Good Luck :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Lynda
  14. Thanks Guys, I'm thinking that I might go with a heap of Cardinals, and a few BN's. I'm think that with a large group of Cardinals, the colour that they would give off would be awesome. Still Thinking tho. Lynda

Hi Geeteee, I would say yes, there must be some advantage to running and old filter into a new tank, surely this would speed up the cycling process. You might just want to see, what some other Fishy People say tho. Good Luck Lynda

    Help

Hi lowndsie, It's all about getting the right balance of Light, fFrts and CO2, if you go thru some of the posts in the plant section you will find some very helpful advice on keeping the right balance . Quite often if something is not right, this will result in Algae growing. You could use the FNZAS Search, not the Google Search at the top of the page, this will bring up all the posts related to plants. Good Luck Lynda

Yeap, I would have to agree with handy-andy, I think Clown Loaches would be fine to go in with the Fishys that you have Poppy. Lynda
