  4. Think it's about every 6 weeks you need to replace it.
  5. Bit difficult to do that with the Aquaone 980 Tanks with the built in Lids, Thinking about how I can leave the lid open but cover the opening with something else.
  6. White Spot on my Discus have all gone Ron they're all fit and healthy, growing really fast too. My Hoplo Catish are the one's that I cant seem to get rid of the White Spot on, thats why I redosed after 3 days and a good water change. Hoping to set up my CF1200 filter on the Discus Tank within the next few hours too.
  7. Tell me, from what I have seen in the pictures of the Auto Feeders, Do you have to leave the Tank Lid open when these are attached to the side of the Tank, cant imagine it being any other way really.
  8. Dont forget Tank too Caryl, (Tank is Faran and Kims Dog that they now have, think he's a Bull Terrier cant quite remember)
  9. Hoping this isn't a common problem with the Aqua One 620T Tank, I just bought myself one of these a month or so ago, along with an Aqua One 980
  10. PH has stayed the same Ron, PH sits at around 6.6

  13. Have to agree on the Angels being the ones that laid the Eggs Sometimes it may take a couple of goes for them to work out what they are meant to be doing with their Eggs Good Luck with them, Raising Angels Fry can be quite demanding, I breed Angels for awhile, to end up with not many at the end of it all.
  14. Wow your ponds looking great Caryl :bounce:
  15. Thank You Caper It's taken me along time to get my Discus Tank, now I finally have it and I absolutely Love it :bounce: :bounce:
  16. Sorry to hear about the loss of your Kirbensis Do you do regular Water Tests?? Important to have your Water Parameters spoton to keep Happy Healthy Fishys Be good if you could post them on here so we can see whats happening with your Tank What symptoms are they showing to make you think they are dying of Dropsy??
  17. Medication is Blue Ira Test Kit turns Green, it should turn yellow with 0 Ammonia Now you got me thinking  Doesn't Blue and Yellow make Green?? Think you have maybe just hit the nail on the head Didn't even think about that. Thanks Lynda
  18. Good Luck with your Discus Amy I hope he/she recovers soon. Lynda
  19. Have to agree with Alan Wait VERY VERY Patiently   Seems to be abit of a waiting game with growing Java Fern I've had some for years never seems to look any different to me
  20. I've been treating for White Spot in my Discus Tank over the last few days, I put the first lot of Blue Circle White Spot treatment into the tank 3 days ago, checked the Water parameters after doing a Water Change, and noticed the Ammonia levels were up to .25ppm and the Nitrate was sitting at 10ppm, so did another Water change today also added more White Spot medication as my Hoplo Catfish still have a few White Spot, after checking the Parameters again, as I do after every water change I do, I noticed the Ammonia Levels are still sitting at .25ppm but the Nitrate Level is now down to 0ppm. Is it posible that the White Spot medication is changing the Water Parameters? I have never had trouble with Ammonia Levels in any of my Tanks, I do at least 2 water changes a week, cant seem to work out quite whats going on with this. All the Water Changes seem to be doing is Adjusting the Nitrate levels in this Tank, not the Ammonia Levels, which is obviously what I'm trying to get back down to 0ppm. Any help would be great guys Lynda
  21. They are SUNSUN Filters, I looked at getting the same one from the petshop here at a cheap price :-? Wasn't to sure how readily available the parts are for these, as I haven't seen many of them around, so ended up getting a couple of the well known Aqua One CF1200 Filters instead.
  22. Not sure if it's a good idea to leave young Discus for 5 days without food Caryl :-? :-? Would hate to come back from holiday and find something terrible has happened to them
