  7. Those SSS looks really good Chin, Are they the new one you got. How many of them did you get or are they the same fish in the photos. Jettin, it's about time you get back into it. Competition means better quality discus for us all in future. Good to see more people with knowledge and experience breeding true strains instead of muck crosses. Cheers, Ron

  9. Dosage depend on how clean your tank is and your bio load. It will oxidise every thing it come s in contact with. It will kill your bio filter. Better to treat it in a bucket. What are you trying to treat? ron
  10. You shouldn't have got the fish if it is not 100% right. You should have quarantin it for at least 2 weeks to de-stress (if there is such a word) it and to adapt to your feeding and waterchange routine without being hassle by other fish. Discus with gill flukes will be dark, clamp fins, hiding, swollen and flare gill plate , and all those mention by Jeff and Sharn. Ron
  11. Stuff some filter floss (white stuff) into the hose and get something to puss it through the hose a couple of times and it'll be clean as. Fill the hose with water first to soften the gunk. Ron
  12. We'll have to go there and release afew hundred baby discus to see whether they'll survive. Ron
  13. If he don't have it in stock he'll gladly order it in for you. Good guy to deal with and very friendly. :bounce: Cheers, Ron
  14. Sharn is spot on with the waterchange. Just do a waterchange before you go. Food is not crucial. Ron
  15. You sure you're not adding something special to your water. How I wish my spotted is doing the same thing.

  19. Yep, better do something about it before they all die off lol. Sorry for the hijack tan. ron
  20. Hi Alan, i use 50grams of rock salt per ltr of water. Try hatching it in a coke bottle as i showed you with the litter nipple(hope you still have it) fix to the cover of the bottle. Ron
