Just wandered down the road to see where all the police and fire engines were headed. House on fire next street over. It is a dead end street and a poor pizza delivery boy had gone up there to deliver but can't get back out as the fire engines are blocking the only exit.

my daughter set this up, chose the aesthetics, layout and fish herself. i helped a little bit with the technical stuff, but in the whole i left it up to her. and i was pleasantly surprised. no fluro pink gravel or spongebob ornaments, just a tidy, natural and simple setup. says she wants to put driftwood in there and grow moss on it to look like a tree, so we will be off on a driftwood hunt next weekend. before bed she was asking when she can have a bigger tank... maybe she is already experiencing onset of MTS, or maybe she just loves me enough to go along with dads crazy hobbies.. either way, i am quite proud!

Ya gotta luvem. Men usually reckon they want boys but get spoilt rotten by their daughters.

I aprove of the lack of colourful gravel, and that there is not 'spongebob' ornaments.

most terrible pet stores sell them. and by terrible i mean animates...

would be nice to have a native fish tank and for 'cheering-up' have some spongebob ornaments in it, wouldn't it ?

After doing the photo dance with this wee thing I finally got a pic. If I walk past with out a camera it stays there, as soon as I grab the photomaker it darts into its tunnel, until now! About 0.5 of a second after Itook this photo it darted back in.
