Aquaculture setup?

Been toying with setting up a few tanks to raise fry in, will need about 10 to 20 tanks so they can be kept seperate. Looking at those warehouse plastic storage bins as tanks and running them all off one sump. Still need to be isolate each if necessary and make it as cheap as possible,

this is a fantastic looking setup, what types of fry are you keeping in there? also how are you maintaining the good bacteria in the water? is your sump drum full of LR?

is that sump lit or all dark?

First things going in the tanks are 24 Pleurobranchaea maculata for study on toxicity

http://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/Contexts ... -sea-slugs

once that is finished then it is onto breeding and raising larval nz marine fish

500 litres of fresh NSW going into system each week

have a 200 litre drum of cycled live rock ready to go into sump

sump is currently dark, constructing a tower filter for it at the moment
