I would look very carefully at the way you've constructed some of those stands, ill be honest, they scare me quiet abit.

lol yea i had a bit of a think about it asked around about strain weights on wood and things like that Ive done a bit of building in the past so i know how fragile wood is but its all quite solid there is no movement at all in the stands loaded or not they are rated to be able to hold 4 times the weight that Ive got on there so im not too worried about them even the corners are still well strengthened, a tho it looks flimsy because of what you can see its really quite strong

you just nail all the bits together bro?

no nails at all! just number 8 wire all the way! that's not even wood its just paper i printed to look like wood to make it look good for all my fans.

real answer: no way! only some select places can be nailed that have no forces applied to them anything that requires any sort of external forces needs to be screwed this is 90% screws and slotted wood bro.

seriously thousands of dollars of fish and gear and id risk it on some flimsy stands? gotta be kidding me. not a backyard jockey

Good on ya!

People tend to go WAAAYY overkill when building their own stand and so when they see one that is not overkill they think it will break..

If you look at a stand for a Juwel Rio 400 tank. That's a potential 500kg on top of a few pieces of particle board put together in the right way.
