How Long Do Bloodworms Last

After defrosting a cube (or part cube) of bloodworms, how long can you keep them for??

I defrosted a cube, got rid of the water, put them in a few 'mm' of tap water and keep them in the fridge.

How long will they last before I should not give them to the fish?

Cheers all!

I doubt any bacteria could really get established in the time it takes to run the cube under the tap for 30 sec and then to re-freeze about 1 ml.

Human food is a bit different when it may take 3-5 hours or more to defrost and then another 3 -5 to re-freeze it.

why don't you just cut or chip off the amount the fish will eat and leave the rest of the block frozen, wrapped in foil?

I have a permanent lunchbox in my freezer with various bits of frozen brine shrimp and blood worm

That lunch box is pretty good thinking. Do the cubes stick together once in there os do they come apart fine?
