A-town...
Do you want all submeresed growth pics? I have a few emmersed I can try dig up
alanmin4304
Either or both would be good as many plants are sold commercially after being grown emersed. Particularly if you have pictures which are not represented on the data base at present or pictures that you think are better than those presently there. Jennifer
I can do repens and arcuata although my arcuata was thinned recently so it isn't looking as good as it can. I will do a bunch of others while I am at it e.g. All sorts of anubias, java fern, echinodors, barclaya and crypts.
phoenix44
I have received some pics of aquatic plants. If you do have pics of java ferns, and other such common plants (ambullia, cabomba etc) email them to me.

antwan
Same thing. Hemianthus is the new name for the genus instead of Micranthemum I think.

Neon
Hi people. Does anyone have any images of Bacopa submersed? We have some emersed but want some as comparison. supasi
Thanks Neon, If you dont want to upload them to a site just email them to me. Click email icon at bottom of my posts Same goes with anyone else. If you have pics you dont want to muck around with uploading to photobucket etc, Need some pics of Hygro Polyperma please, submersed. Also Cabomba, various lotus pics, Acorus, Indian Ferns, thats just naming a few Have a look here http://www.fnzas.org.nz/index.php?PG=plant If there is only a drawing we may need an image. We have some but the more the better. I am working slowly on the crypt side of things but if you have some good pics of crypts then let me know. Ideally close ups so you can see the detail of the plants, Not whole tank shots unless the whole tank is the one plant in question. c. balansae- Need a nice pic of this, mine is not the nicest at the moment. Joe
Why do you want pics of Acorus? It is a bog plant. Maybe a sperate thing should be made with photos of all the bog plants we have in NZ?
phoenix44
Why do you want pics of Acorus? It is a bog plant. Cause it's a plant, and we need pictures of plants to match up the names of plants in the existing database.
Joe
I'm still confused. I thought the plant database was aquatic plants, not bog plants. Acorus should probably be removed from the database then.
phoenix44
It will not be removed from the database Joe. It is commonly sold as an aquatic plant, just like mondo. If I have my way mondo will be on the list too.

Acorus should probably be removed from the database then. Joe, the FNZAS is not just about keeping fish in tanks. Many members have ponds or enjoy growing aquatic and bog plants. ( I know I do ) Acorus is commonly used in the hobby. If we were just to remove all the plants that are not true aquatic plants then what good would that be to anyone who has been sold some and wants to know what they have. The FNZAS caters for a large group of interests. Now, do you have any photos for me?

The Arcuata is not on the list but it is nice so will send some shots anyway
phoenix44
I have previously posted stargrass, macrandra and rotundifolia pics. Here they are again L. Aromatica submersed (what I have, we are working on this other one).
