smidey
If I remember correctly: H1.1 is borer only H1.2 is a borer & fungus treatment H3.1 is for decay treatment to protect against periodic wetting. H3.2 is for exposed timber not near the ground H4 is exposed & ground contact H5 is in ground
Joshlikesfish
Priced 75x50. Cheapest is $3 at miter 10 but I'll take the quote to bunnings and they'll beat it by 15%, I think. Ryan, Did you used a double barbed fitting or was one side threaded for your water change system? Thanks
ryanjury
I just used 13mm irrigation elbows.. Hori and cheap as.
Joshlikesfish
I've bought "19mm barbed irrigation elbows" There was none that were non threaded or barbed which is what I was hoping for. 13mm would be much easier to drill then 19mm right? Insect Direct
they dont do the 15% on trade/timber your best to get on the phone, ask for prices. often every hardware store has something different on the cheap.
ryanjury
I have only drilled the one sized hole but would assume drilling smaller ones is easier, plus a 19mm drain is pretty massive, but that would depend on how much water you plan to flow through it. Joshlikesfish
I'll have a look 1t 13mm tomorrow when I go back
Joshlikesfish
So... Dad just dropped off the 25mm thick poly, and the courier turned up with my drill bits :happy2: Got a lot of work ahead of me now
acara
Just catching up on this thread now.Back a couple of pages ago you put up a link to a 'fish wardrobe'.I had considered something like this as a temporary measure in an uninsulated shed, but ruled it out as I was afraid the fish would become startled each time the door was opened. They would not be use to movement. Not a good idea imo. Joshlikesfish
Nothing new in the past week. Frame is still sitting on the floor I bought the wrong sized drill bits  so $20 wasted. Bought the right drill bit and have been drilling but cracked a tank  The rest of the poly will be put up tonight which will hopefully give my dad some incentive to put the frame up, and finish the other third of the framing. Also have to sort out the door my parents reckon they have for me This time of the year is useless for getting things done because everyone is always busy
