Tank is a standard 2ft

Lighting - 1 x Mirabella 18w Daylight Fluorescent tube

UGF from an AquaOne 320 on right hand side under big rocks

King 1 600lph pump on right hand wall with airline jammed up the bottom of it

No heater turned on

Substrate Greywake of various sizes including fine gravel in the left hand side

Large piece of driftwood - hence the brown water

Heaps of Crypts, some in pots with Daltons Aquaticmix

Food - Hikari Sinking Carnavore Pellets, Wardley Shrimp Pellets, the occasional feed of frozen bloodworms & algae off the rocks and glass

Great news about the plant Hans, mine is covered with dark algae at the moment

I like the tank Zev, when/if I find a free tank this seems like an awesome idea.

If I had the time and space I would re do it in a three foot tank, have a lower water level and emersed and submersed crypts on a riverbank type thing along the length of the tank.

When I look at the little fish it looks very Loach-like with the pinched nose and whiskers (yes, I know they are not whiskers) and flat nosed like it's parents.

I will not accept 10 photos of the same fish for a registered Breeding.

Gah - spoilsport!

I know PhotoShop...

Actually I am just pleased they like the tank!

must-top-up-water!

Nope, like it that low, otherwise I have to have the return for the UGF out of the top of the tank to get aeration, then it splatters everywhere.
