JackJackJack
The results speak for themselves; maybe this is why your tank is very ordinary. Certainly have not seen it reviewed in any of the leading magazines. Wonder why?? your not letting it get to your head though are you? reef
that is 750 pounds, nz$2140 p/m. amazing tank. that must have cost 100k plus. especially with all the halides and equipment. Might be time for a upgrade. i think not.

lduncan
Thanks. Steve, the acro in the background of the last pic is the one which is starting to turn purple. That pic was from a week ago, (the others were all taken today). You can kind of see the very tips with a bit of purple in that pic, but the colour has moved further down the tips now. It's hard to get a good photo of it though. Hopefully the whole coral colours up, it should look great then. Layton
jetskisteve
Cool , I know what you mean pics don't do justice.
reef
nice pics layton. what is that coral on the right hand side under the stream. looks orange
lduncan
It a seriatopora. The pics have come out quite red, i didn't bother trying to correct the colour on them. It's more of a golden brown than an orange in real life. Layton

Brianemone
my nano the colouration is off so everything looks very red and brown need to take some new ones already cause i've since added a nice cleaner shrimp and a little clown
chimera
ok, here's a closeup of my tank today. clowns doing a u-turn in front of my bi-colour blennie and royal dottyback... you can see small traces of cyano just under the clown... lucky im not showing you a shot of the substrate - its a shocker at the moment! nothing i do can get rid of the crap. will be interesting to see what a 150% increase in water volume, better circulation and new lighting will do soon... reef
chimera corraline algae looks good. the cyno might be from the organics that has been sitting in you rocks, i think over time it will just go as long as you dont add anything to your tank and keep it clean. chimera
reef - yeah, im picking dead spots too in the rocks doesnt help at all either. thats why im so keen on getting the new tank in - but on the same hand, i dont want to rush things and screw it up so am maintaining a bit of patience (but on the same hand am getting pissed off with the cyano - viscious circle)
