  16. Okies, I put him in a breeder trap so he wouldn't get stuck to the filter. Didn't feed for a few days. HOWEVER, I guess he was stressed from being in the trap so he got fin rot. He swims okay now, he eats okay but his tail fin is gone and some of his dorsal fin. There seems to be a bit of controversy over the use of Melafix so my question is do you folks recommend I take him out and put him in my small tank and treat with Melafix OR just let him be and see what happens???? Just did a weekly water change but should I do smaller ones each day for a few days??? Thanks Caper
  17. Looking good Is glosso the plants? I love the black sand! What kind of fishies are you putting in? Will there be a background on it? Caper
  18. Sorry about your fish...and a pat on the back for having to do what you did...I know it's not easy. Caper
  19. Do not freeze from what I've read here freezing is a cruel and slow death for fish Any ideas as to what caused the lump? Injury? Other fish? Is there any change in the size of the lump? Caper
  20. That's good to hear. When you say "sick fishies" do you mean the ones with fin rot? Are you still using Melafix? Oh, and keep us posted as to how they are doing. Caper
  21. I agree might just take some settling into their new surroundings. Although, my barbs aren't fussy for the lights on they seem to be more at the top/mid section when the the light is off. Let us know how it goes! Caper
