  1. Maybe I am missing something, but I thought that the red chest tends to mean a male in water dragons. Also if they are a similar size and age I would also say both male as females are smaller than males.
  2. I do not know how many were ever released to the market and from what I have heard there seems to be a fertility problem with some of them.
  3. Is there really only two of us breeding these lizards?. I have heard that the coastals are only available in New Zealand and Australia (legally). One I got from you has successfully bred this year.
  4. Is anyone else out there having any success with the breeding of these dragons?
  5. Can feed them by teaspoon (wont risk fingers), can make them jump for food, and they have been known to climb my leg for food (not good when wearing shorts) but as for handling they are not so keen.
  6. I have coastal dragons which I have running free inside an unheated glasshouse with water dragons and reeves turtles year round. I handled them from a young age and regularly hand feed so now they come meet me at feed time. Coastals are easy to handle but the waterdragons are very quick and less keen to be handled, but the female waterdragon is quite happy to climb my leg (not so good in shorts) looking for food. I do not keep inland dragons but I do not think they are suitable for out side.
  7. Good to see. Someone bought up in another post on this site something you may have looked into, and that is the importing of sperm. There was no real response to that, I don't know if you have an answer to that? At the moment I have other priorities otherwise I would be interested in one of the River cooter turtles.
  8. Not exactly fish but certainly unusual. At a guess they are freshwater. Shrimps with a difference.
  9. I believe it is a heated room and since leopard geckos are nocturnal lighting is not so important. This is another facebook site which has some great reptiles. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Geckos-E ... ion=stream
  10. Sorry to those who get stressed out seeing lizards they cant get but I thought these were worth seeing and dreaming, maybe one dayyyyyyyy. Breeder - https://www.facebook.com/PaulKentReptile
  11. I was thinking about a Copperband for my tank because I have plenty of aiptasia and have given up trying to kill it. But after a bit of research have decided against it for now. The copperbands also has a taste for other types of soft corals which I have or hope to get in the future.
  12. Dandelion plant may not be what you are thinking about but my beardies love them and it gives them something to graze on.
  13. Check out this link. Great catch. http://www.care2.com/causes/smuggler-ca ... ecies.html
  14. Wish mine were producing but have had no luck with males. The first one turned out to be female and the second one turned out male but appears to be infertile. Being in an out-of-the-way place makes it more difficult to obtain more.
