  1. You're going to have more then two in the near future.
  2. It looks like it could still work. Have you given it a go?
  3. I might give that a go with the noodles under the wool on my 620T now that you guys reckon it's more effective.
  4. Yep I can back that up sadly.
  5. Are you sure about that? They carry the same markings that I have seen in pictures of true wild guppies. I do understand that they can head towards looking like their wild form by loss of body and fin size as well as colour. But is it possible for degenerative breeding to result with a fish that looks completely like a true wild guppy?
  6. Jensen’s in Glenfield are selling the wild type guppies! I saw them just yesterday and they are far nicer then how people describe them. It's also nice to see them how they are from the wild before they have under gone selective breeding.
  7. A cause of oil on the water surface I know of is from your hands and arms in the water. I've never bothered removing it in the past but if you are concerned I think it would take nothing more then a towel spread on the surface of the water/oil. The oil should cling to the towel. I used to remove oil that way from my old fish pond. The dumb residents of that pond would not eat mosquito larva. So my dads fix for when there were far to many larva and we feared going down the yard. Remove fish, pour in some cooking oil just enough to cover the surface. Then those buggers couldn’t breathe as they can’t swim through oil Muhahaha. It may not have been the most practical way to kill them but that is the type of man my dad is. And it doesn’t harm the fish when you put them back in AFTER removing the oil.

  12. Makes me want to start keeping fighters again
  13. Ps1 outdated I play megadrive and master system atleast once a week. Not emulated. Retro gaming rules.
  14. I didn't mention that but that was a worry I had. The pump not being able to move air trough the valve. Did the ones you had have a rubber beak looking thing inside them?
  15. Owww even if it cost me $5 more to make one I wouldn't care. I just like making my own stuff if at all possible. But I did think some one might have a easy DIY like puting a ball bearing into a tight fitting container with the air line connected to each end.
  16. Does anybody know how to make a 1 way valve so that water doesn't find its way back up through your air line? or should I spend the $3 on one from a store
  17. Yeah thats why I'm guessing predator. Those pincers aren't made for eating alge
  18. At a guess I would say they they could eat fry, I think I've heard of them eating mosquito larvae. But don't quote me on that
  19. Im sure there are members here that can point you in the direction of some great stores not to far from where you are.
  20. Was your copper sulfate sold as a aquarium product or did you pick it up elsewhere, and how much are you adding per litre? I've had enough of these snails in my tank they need to get down with the sickness
  21. That’s not too cool, I'm not to sure about what to think of that store and the assistant. It seems very irresponsible that a store would just have white spot and only take action when customers point it out. I could at least help you by advising that you don’t get your fish from there anymore.
  22. Yes that is Dragonfly larvae. I don't know if they would be any harm to fry but they do keep karp happy at a friends pond.
  23. I’m the straight Tetris block. I’m single, straight, tall and never a square. I fit in with others very well and people often look forward to seeing me, as I’m easy going and don’t mind where I go. More often then not I will fit in. Sounds like a personal
