    This or that

Metal I guess Salsa flavoured corn chips, with salsa or Cheese flavoured corn chips, with salsa
  3. I think it looks good, African tanks are something i've always been curious about but never tried, nice work though
  4. Looking good man! Keep us updated
  5. Oops. Seems I was mistaken about NSW hah. I've only looked into synthetic mixes. Are there many impurities with Auckland NSW? I guess collection point matters? Hovmoller - Fish Only With Live Rock!
  6. There's a couple of auctions on trademe with synthetic salt mixes, I brought a bucket of Marinium salt for $80, makes 500 and something litres? Mix it correctly you don't have to worry about modifying parameters with NSW, as NZ NSW parameters are different to ideal tropical NSW parameters (Salinity, and a few other ones are lower than preferred I think..) I agree with Suphew, it's better if you get your own rock and start cycling it now. Unless you were planning on getting pre cured stuff from someone elses tank? But i'd reccomend cyling your own still And yeah, if you want help with setups, and have a spare moment visit Aquaworld in Albany, awesome store, guys are really knowledgeable, you'll be in the right direction after having a chat to a few of the guys there. Beautiful store also, lots of stock, impressive displays. Man I love marine shrimp. There's a nano setup there at the moment, but I think it's going to be moved soon. Running a HOB filter, not too sure what was in it though.
  7. It's looking great Foxja!

    My new plec

    Corydoras

My favourites out of the species we have here are probably C. Adolfoi, C. Sterbai, C. Similis , B. Splendens! Overseas however, like previously linked. These ones are my favourites 1) Corydoras sp. (C065) "Guarana Cory" 2) Corydoras sp. (CW010) "Orange/Gold Lazer Cory" 3) Corydoras paralellus , juvi. "Two Line Cory" 4) Scleromystax barbatus "Bearded Cory" Too many to list haha. Although, last one isn't a Cory, part of Callichthyidae like Hoplos and such

    Gah

Guess it's just something that can happen with a high tech tank bro. Guess you can compare it to driving at high speeds, something goes wrong then yeah. Not too surprised that the fish spawned in rock cave like that, I would bet money that it happens in nature

Another one of my favourites! Corydoras sp. (C065) "Guarana Cory"

Yeah, those are nice too. I'd love to have some of those CW010 is it? I don't read much into Corydoras hah. Orange Lazers there common name is. Those are pretty wicked looking too. EDIT: Dunno about you, but I think these are awesome.

    Nice Brochis splendens!
  16. Makes sense to be skeptical, trader does seem to have a high amount of postive feedback though
  17. Yeah, FOWLR won't be too hard man. It's a 50L, so you could probably just pick some Live Rock, get some salt. Maybe something to up the flow, maybe. But other then that FOWLR is pretty basic man. Should be no problem at all.
  18. How long have you had it for exactly? I think they have three year warrantys. Not too sure though, I think mine has one.
  19. Yeah, Original edge lights aren't too great. Been looking at these on Youtube quite a bit. Definiately worth it once it's established. Wish you luck man.
  20. Yeah it does have some swag to it bro hah.

    Voltage input

Too true, this of course was something I was trying to factor in aswell. It'd obviously be alot less of a hassle returning it to a store 20mins away than it would be going through the entire shipping overseas process. Thanks heaps though man
