    Voltage input

You'll be surprised man, not really face palmable. There can be some pretty huge differences in price even after conversion. Some family members are involved with freight companies, so i'll check that out. Alot of marine keepers buy things online, probably more so than freshwater keepers. But yeah, just doing price/checks measuring possibilitys as some do hah. Yeah, some models like the Pro 3 2075 worked out to be close to 50% cheaper, with around $100 or so ontop for shipping. Yeah, might start to consider the FX5, nothing wrong with them. Just after reading a monsterfishkeepers Pro 3 2080 vs FX5 review the EHEIM was quieter, used less power, retained a higher percentage of flow rate, and performed better biologically. Just an overall good impression, reliable brand too. Fluval did better mechanically though, but yeah. It's for a smaller tank, I just really would like to give surplus filtration. Just exploring all options really bro Ah I see. That's really the answer I was looking for, the site seems to be split between two or so zones. So I was just wondering if they make zone specific filters etc. Maybe a silly question, but I felt it was worth the ask. Will double check though, thanks a bunch Ira
  2. No point arguing about this as I don't know the exact technical specifications of the tank, or what kind of biological filtration they use, and how water changes are performed and in what manner. Either way, fish look relatively healthy, so can't be too bad
  3. Hah, but it's mitigated by good biological support, and heavy water changes. In your case, open windows

Would you say all EHEIMs are?

Thanks for the replys, but I think the question was about the filter type in general, and wether it would be relevant. The model is EHEIM Pro 3 2080, well. To make the question a little easier are they zone specific made? Or are they 110/220V compatible generally?

    Voltage input

I was thinking about getting an EHEIM Canister filter sent over from the states, Dad mentioned that the voltage inputs are different in America, was just wondering. Would this be relevant in my case? Will I have any issues trying to run the canister filter power wise? Any input appreciated, thanks guys
  7. Yeah, I thought something had to be different for you to be able to close it in such a way. It must be the browser version.
  8. I must have the MOTAT version of Firefox then
  9. Last time I checked for updates was when I reformatted my PC about a year or so ago. So I must be using an older version. Did you just click close on the tab/popup/ or entire window?
  10. I agree. I would imagine someone with that kind of stocking level would know what they're doing in order to maintain such a bioload. As far as I could tell the fish look pretty healthy. Don't think they'd last too long if the owner didn't know how to keep a tank like that in balance. I'm pretty 50/50 on it aswell, guess it depends how you see it, and what sort of reaction you respond to it with. Ultimately matter of opinion really, right and wrong will always be in a constant duality and at the end of the day all they will be is different
  11. I just hold down the enter key hah. Usually have a heap of tabs open and don't really want to spend time reopening them. Could get technical about it. Say you're using firefox, pressing ctrl+alt+delete then opening the task manager is the first step. Next change to the processes tab, if I was using firefox I would see firefox.exe etc (could be iexplore.exe depends on what browser you're using.) Simply click the process and press the delete button. May come up asking you if you're sure you want to end the process just click "End Process" and voila. Of course this will exit any other tabs/windows you might have open. But you'll be free of the website
  12. She's a pretty one!
  13. Awesome looking tank Kinbote
  14. Some nice fish in some of those tanks that's for sure. Even though they are in a really small tank in contrast to fish size/amount, and I'm no expert either but most of them appear to be somewhat healthy. I guess it all depends how you look at it, and how you feel about it after seeing it. Not encouraging overstocked tanks or anything, i'd always want to give my fish as much space as I possibly can. But hey on the bright side, i'm sure they are looked after to some extent. Even though a little more swimming space wouldn't go unappreciated. But yeah, whatever floats some peoples boats I guess.
  15. I think he means they're all over foot paths and such. So he brought a treadmill so he can excercise at home instead
  16. Youtube Leopard geckos if you're interested, i've seen a few enclosure setup videos on there
  17. Most of the ADA lights are usually over hanging, if you know someone who's familiar with metal work could easily make something.
