I use 70-80 liter rubbishn bins from payless plastics, only cost around $40 and you can keep all your water

I use randy's 2 part with a dual dosing pump, I am pretty happy with it and dont do any maintenance on it at all ecxept for make the chemicals every 6-8 months. My brother doses the same a cracker manually 1-2 times per week. I tried this but noticed some bad reactions in my corals so prefer using the dosing pump

Layton, do any of the units you have mentioned have bulbs which are available in NZ or do they all need to be purchased from overseas

I have xenia in both my main tank and my sump, the lighting is both t5 in both tanks and yet the xenia in my sump pulses like crazy and the one in the main tank doesnt. Also the growth rates are a lot quicker in my sump

is it possible the new lights are too much or the photo period is too much for your corals. Could the change in the way u administer your carbon have cleaned the water up too much and the corals cant handle that much light

even with a qt tank what is going to stop a pb getting white spot once its moved again. The only time I have had any parasites that were noticable on my fish was after moving them, my blue tang has moved 3 times and has broken out each time. soory about your loss
