That said... do guppies pair up? or is it just free-for-all? :lol: Have some young ones, and the thought came to me that if they pair, i would be good to get some more, unrelated, before then so that we don't get too many little hillbillie fry with "purty mouths". :lol: In any case, if they don't i should be widening the gene pool anyway. Has it been a month already? Oh, does anyone want a couple of young angels? They're 3-4cm without fins + tail, and have a bit of fin damage from nippers. Were a surprise drop-off (friend concerned about the fins) but my main tank is in no way suitable, so they're in a little tank of their own on the kitchen bench at the moment. They're getting friendly, but it's not really practical for me :roll: , so if anyone wants them i'll bring them along to the meeting. One's white and the other is an apricotty colour.

How do i open up and clean my Aqua One CF-1000, without getting water and crap everywhere? Instructions are lost and so am I... Obviously will need to turn it off, but do I need to take the intake pipe out of the water, or, umm, I don't know... And once it's open, what's the best way to clean it? I was guessing along the lines of rinsing the media in tank water taken out for a water change, so it doesn't kill the bacteria... am I right? Anything I should know right about now? Help ASAP would be much appreciated - am both wanting to clean the thing, and check to make sure my AWOL baby pleco isn't actually crushed/hiding in the filter itself. xxxx!!!!
