It can't be just me - cruelty aside, I actually think those patterns on the fish are pretty ugly and s%*t anyway - just tacky

I have about 15-20 left out of 30-35ish. They were doing really well in their bucket, even with water added. Then they got put in a tank with an airstone, and some dropped away. Put a filter and heater in a few days ago, and since then 1 loss this morning. They seem to deal fine with being mistreated and neglected (i.e. left in a bucket with no heater), but start carking it once you take care of them. A little too much love perhaps? Mine are all a grey/creamy yellow, and my biggie is a female, so i'm yet to see any fab colours or big fins. I quite like the yellow colour though - and they are growing quick!

Hey scuba sam - they do like swimming in current, so i'm told. But more likely that he went up the intake tube - they can squeeze through the grill that stops debris getting sucked up. You need to put something like foam over it to stoip them getting through - i used netting from an old fish net, held over it with a rubber band until i can get my a$$ into gear and tie it on. Hope that helps

Gah!!! My taxi driver (boyfriend) has declined my invitation to accompany me to the occasion, and there's no way i'm missing it, so i'm gonna be taking a trip on the jolly old Urban Express. Not too bad though - give me some time to get some reading done, and the stop is 2 seconds from my work. Not sleet nor snow nor wind...... 8)

Lol, i went to anything that google brought up. Nothing that specifically said they weren't, but some that were rather vague. Maybe i just got hit by information overload... :lol: Yes i'm LOVING the idea of some fantastic contrasting fish for a BIG display tank to run across the living room wall once they're bigger, so definitely looking at plenty of space rather than just the basic/minimum requirement. Thanks for the advice, will have a look at the Demasoni profile...
