  1. yup thats the fulse Albino, If she had albino fry it would white. Shae
  2. I very much doubt it is the albino Gene, very hard ot come bye these days, you probably just have the false albinos that are yellowish and have black eyes, trust me when i say this, i have females exactly the same, and whent he fry come out of the gravid spot they have black eyes. Generally guppys drop in the early hours of the morning not at night, and if you want to save more then i would suggest a breeders box that have V in it. Shae
  3. No. do not empty the tank, do it with the water in. Shae
  4. Flake food would be fine for those fish, even the corys will get some, Spirilina tablets are always good for corys, and the other fish aswell. Bloodworms are better, frozen and live foods are great for all fish. Shae

  7. No worries man, lol, im into the guppys aswell so i can understand. I have 40+ of the doubel sword strain at the mo. I once had a gaint Guppy strain, that slowly feel apart, cause i knew nothing about Strain breeding. And i got 120-134 fry off her in a single drop, but the females were double the size of your female so i am still very impressed at the drop you got! Shae

  13. Ahh, then most likley the problem is tannins, give it a while and keep the filter wool in your filters clean and eventually it will disappear. Shae
  14. $600 is a bit over the top, $200-$400 i can understand, how much mark up will these guys be making on this fish! Shae
  15. Don't feed praying mantis, they are indangered in NZ now. Second why do you have the outlets of your external and internal filters so low to the gravel? thats going to help stur everything up and not let it settle again. Second have a look at the filter wool, it might already need a clean, third do a really good gravel clean, and fourth hold of the feeding for a few days and see if thats attributing to the problem. Shae
  16. Soutta, Hope by the morning you find that the tank does not have a leak, have a good Friday, lol Shae

  22. Leeches and Maggots are not old technology, infact there used in modern day medicine alot more than you think. Leeches premote blood circulation in limbs that might otherwise have to be amputated. They also have a Anti-Clotting factor in there saliva that is know being used commonly in modern day medicine. Maggots are ussed to clean out wounds and premote cell regeneration as Bill has already mentioned. Shae
