  1. I dont think it should be killed, Its one of the best threads of read on this part of the site, Ive certainly learnt alot. Thanks Chimera, This Thread needed some division in discustion. Shae
  2. it only needs to be able to handle 300-400l system, havnt worked out exact Literage yet, will do so. Prices would be nice aswell, But if one of those Kings will do the trick for 6 months, its a cheap altunative to start with. Shae
  3. Maybe this discusion deserves a New Thread. Shae

  8. I might be interested in some of that cheap gear if your not useing them, and willing to sell, Not for marine, Im sure i could put it to use with the Freshys. Yeah im doing heaps of research at the momment. Pies told me how cheap MH can be, so i was really incouraged by the price i heard. I deffinatly want a sump, And that brings up another question, Is it possible to rig a System that doesnt need Holes in the tanks? And how would i go about it if so? Shae
  9. Hmm, Ok, I spose i could possibly put a Marine into my fishroom, Not sure how fesable it would be though. Considering it could only be 30-40cm tall in my stands. Shae
  10. I was Just wondering if You could make a Sump Silent? I was at Pies last night and his one down stares is abit noisey, and if i were to setup a marine i would have it in my room, just wondering if i can make a Marine silent like i can my freshwaters? Cheers Shae (Cheers for the advice Pies, And good food from Jane )
  11. They are Deffinatly not Glowlight tetra, at the base of the tail Glowlights have two small forking ash marks on either side of the orange strip. The fish in this picture has a stronge Black Dot in the middle of the base of its tail, And what looks like a faded black strip on one side of its body. Again i doubt it is a Black Neon. Shae
  12. Your tank if very colourful. IMO, I would have to say that the "three stooges" are neither black neon or Glowlight, However i cannot tell you what they might be as i do not know. Maybe some kind of Minnow? Shae
  13. It might just be the Flash, But they dont look like my Black Neons. Shae
  14. Thought that might be your reaction . Well when i have some money (a few of months) i will buy some. I owe my dad $1300 for the fishroom. Shae
  15. Well i thought i had gotten rid of my convicts, i fed 140 off when they were fry, kept ten fry, and sold my adults to Mystic, the 10 fry died, and it seems 17 fry in the big tank that i fed them out in survived, so i know have 3cm convicts swimming about. Shae
  16. Generally you want a 1 Watt per Litre, so the saying, "any that will fit" is incorrect for the most part. for instance you want 400 watts of heating for a 400l tank, so buy a 300watt and 100 watt heater, or 2x 200watts etc, make sence? Shae
  17. Heck!!500!!, ill come grab some off you if your given them away!! 500!!! Shae
  18. Deffinatly, Newtman can tell you a story about his apple snails eating a Betta that was still alive and swimming happily. Shae
