  1. I found the wardley's had a much higher vege protein content than the others. This works well in combination with a high animal protein food like salmon pellets etc.
  2. Sailfin pleco (red spot) - Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps Common pleco (common) - Pterygoplichthys pardalis Gold Spot pleco (gold spot) - Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus To be honest...... I haven't seen any good quaility sailfins in any stores yet. I would love to find a top quaility sailfin with a large sail.
  3. I prefer Wardleys myself. Haven't tried the NLS. I have Hikari atm, they are ok
  4. Yeah I had a Distichodus Sexfasciatus in OZ and that thing was one angry. It bashed up my 25cm Goldie and it was only 20cm Awesome looking fish though

  7. I used this stuff when I was in OZ for a while and never had any problems with but to be honest never really noticed that it did anything special either.....
  8. Yes. but it also depends on the attitude of each one of them. In a four foot with plenty of hiding places it should be fine.
  9. I haven't seen any aggresion but they do like to guard their favorite spot!
  10. One of the females (bit stressed) Newly hatched wrigglers
  11. fresh vege is good. It is a Titanic. scarlets and cactus have the white eye
  12. It went very red with good food. It was stressed in that bag. If you are after red, look at the L114 at HFF. It might be what your after and they are great plecs!
  13. HFF has a L114 not a L24. They did come in awhile ago by mistake but not for ages as they are not on the import list yet. The list is currently being updated. Heres the L273 Titanic that I picked up a long time ago that came in.

  18. Thanks for all the replies... Looks like there is no real way to tell if it will kill everything or not hahaha knew this would be the case. Still undecided if it is worth having him hav a go at a small Royal and Sunshine when he gets older! Is it really worth a try? Now I'm not sure. Cheers again
  19. Hi Anyone out there had any personal experience with Black sharks? I'm contemplating getting one to put in a big tank with spotted silver dollars and plecos..... Thanks James
