  11. Feeding plecos depends on what type of pleco it is. All my plecos get the same base diet of wafers, colourbits, fresh vege, salmon pellets, mussels and prawns. They don't all eat the same food but this way they all get what they need and what they prefer.
  12. Thanks for all the feedback I was looking into getting some of the true SA puffers as there are 3 available to me. Prob give them a miss at this stage.

I would have to say C. schwartzi. The spots tend to be real close in the Schwartzi and they almost form a line whereas the Agassizii tend to be a little further apart and more distinct as individual spots. The schwartzi also tend to have more of a stub nose, like yours seem too.
  16. It looks to have a greenish appearance??? Or is it just the pic? L190, Panaque nigrolineatus, tend to have a more grey/tan appreance. They also have a windowin their tail when small. A tail pic would help
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHq3RwES0CA&feature=related !drool: Now that is a sailfin!!!!!
  18. Yeah I would wait a while, once it is used to the different foods and comfortable feeding. Have you worked out what type of royal it is? Is it a 190 or one of the 27's?
  19. I would keep it apart for now, in a stress free environment with plenty of food.
  20. STUNNING!!!!! If only we could get more than just Dulleyes, L190 and L27
  21. Anyone out there use these? I haven't tried them in ages but they used to be a big hit....
