  3. took some more tonight i finally go a decent macro shot of my fungia heres a frag i got from warick and my staghorn acro
  4. its really the same idea but youve got all the coral as well which are often alot more sensative than fish. another tank as lduncan said would make it alot easier but its still doable without one. trick is to keep as much as you can of the water and to keep the rocks damp/wet and o do it all as fast as you can.
  5. should be doing some work on the tank on monday, the zebra's i have are very personable and friendy whereas the yellows are still being scardy fish

  7. get a syringe full of boiling water and inject it into its mouth. kalk miture is good too. some people use lemon juice and other leave them alone

  12. Hi Does anyone have experiance in sculpting polystyrene??? I want to make a background for my wifes cichlid tank, i havent decided if i want it to be rocks or wood, but the idea is the same (i think) sculpt the poly and then cover in concrete?????

    the 7400k plants tend to like light in the lower kelvin range
  14. i dont think id put them in with discus fast moving things arent usualy a good idea in a discus tank
  15. limestone sounds like a good idea, do you have any pics of what it looks like in the tank??
  16. still dont have one. the tank is setup with water/heater/fish and shark filter from the two footer. now onto the next lot of questions, i want a rock face type setup. questions is what type of rocks??? i was thiking coral rock but that would cost quite a bit or just use some other type??? any suggestions??
