i didnt think the tang was all that impressive normal blue tangs are nicer IMO the flameback angel on the other hand sold already :evil:

How to workout what size power pump you need in your sump?

your replacing distilled (evaporated) water with distilled water so i cant see any negatives

ive actually got a bit of hair algae at the moment do to a higher bioload never had it before with the hamiltron tap water, i think it comes down to feeding and stocking levels

to a certain extent i think it is, you maybe better off starting a charitable organization, (save the reefs or something)

there is a guy ninjafish on RC that setup some strange autotopoff i didnt pay to much attention as my evaporation is minimal (very minimal)

maybe a dosing pump might work, youll need to measure the amount for a while and figure out how consistant the evap is

the hole should be drilled in the bottom or in the back wall, with an overflow box that feeds it.

yeah the clown gobies are fairly common, i think jansens in auckland has 3 at the moment

with your light any of those corals should be ok. because you wont have any fish you shouldnt need any added filtration. im still on the hunt for a mini goby for my tank

the bigger the better, dont forget you dont need a flash glass sump, anything that can hold water well will do.

evap isnt an issue if you have a glass cover, that why i opted to drill (after buying a HOB) and with the fan having it covered shouldnt push up the heat too much

can i ask questions now???? first of all fantastic, great to have someone else enjoying the satisfaction of doing it nano style. what are your plans?? coral, shrimp?? a glass shrimp would have a ball in there (and they are fairly cheap )

you might have issues with the light, are you going to use a transformer??
