  1. that idea would work with liquid fry food but i was thinking of flake food. those gardern 1 gallon per hour type of drippers would work for the liquid idea too if you could find one that drips slow enought.
  2. Do you guys know if it is possible to make a diy automatic fish feeder. i am getting more and more baby fish and i figure that if i feed them little and more often i might get more groth results and on school days i can only feed baby fish 2-3 times, once before school, once after school and maybe at dinner time. any ideas?? thanx Daniel
  3. Hi Guys I have one very very fat synodontus eupterus and was wondering if it is possible to breed them in captivity because it would be good to have them in all of my african tanks Any help would be much appreciated thanx Daniel

  14. i am and average fish keeper not too many tanks only 13 i have 7 foot africans 5 foot african 2x110cm african juvies 3x80cm guppies/bn's 1x70cm altolamprologus pair 60litre hex, running but empty 40litre running but empty 5 foot 3 section bricardi/bns & african fry 80cm african fry 60cm planted tank just for growing plants hmmm i think thats 13 hopefully some killie tanks on the way. :lol:
  15. hmmm i think mine are making love :oops: :lol: the one i got offf you misnoma now has a follower. my original one aorund the same size is following the new one, no fighting just following around.

  18. i have had no probs with cae's i have 2 in one tank and 1 in another tank with no problems no unexplained deaths, no deaths full stop actually, plecos and bn's and ever type of sucker fish can and will latch on to a wounded fish and just keep sucking until the fish dies, natural instinct??? well i have only heard of cae's, plecs and bns doing it so i though maybe others do as well. hmm, polgara you could sell cichlids eggs on trademe as good protein food
  19. i made a mix of peas shelled shrimp and some gelatine and it is fine, i just forget to feed it sometimes :roll:

  22. umm try some dither fish eg. open water swimmers-peacocks, blue lumpheads. or maybe even some sort of melanotaenia sp.??
