  1. i didn't know the azureus had the orange on the dorsal??
  2. i'm pretty sure pseudotropheus is out the door or it could be that just pseudoptropheus zebra was split into maylandia/metriaclima and there is still a debate going on about maylandia and metriaclima at the moment, it will end up as one or the other
  3. ummm #3 Sciaenochromis Fyeri (reason for not being ahli is because of orange on anal fin) #4 Mayandia/Pseudotropheus Callainos otherwise some sort of zebra. #5 just a guess but could be Maylandia Estherae or Maybe some sort of zebra again. #6 Maylandia Crabro hope this helps :bounce:

  14. i am ordering some stuff from biosuppliers and i see on the list they have "paramecium culture" what is this and how do you culture it/them. i read it is a fryfood so i take it that it is some sort of small organism any help would be much appreciated :bounce:
  15. i am getting 2 1/2 buckets anyone could buy a bucket and divide it up and sell on trademe, (not sure on profit though) i am sure there will be plenty of people in waikato wanting bs flake or spirulina flake. polgara - maybe you could put this in the newsletter. :bounce:
  16. kool congrats on the fry, what sp. of mouthbrooders were they?? my copadichromis borleyi bred for me this afternoon, i was watching them and the female had quite a mouthful (50 or so) and they were breeding still but then the female tryed to lay eggs but none came out, she did this a few times but nothing happened, she probably ran out of eggs because the auratus male keeped on eating them. fingers crossed for this batch. i tend to strip them after a few days and hatch the eggs myself, the tank they are in is quite crowded so the females tend to spit out the eggs within a week of breeding because they get stressed. the other female is also ready to breed now, along with the venustus (almost bursting) blue lumpheads, and baenschis (my last batch fungused because i didn't do enough water changes on them  hope that wasn't too long and boring :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: whoopeee hahaha i love this one
  17. kool pics what variation of alto's are they?? i have a pair that i want to breed but the female isn't really interested and gets beaten up easily. any tips, where do you get shells like that?? thanx Daniel
