we all have been teenagers as well, we all have had massive hormone changes and pressure but we are still here and we did not sniff glue, paint or LPG, I would say it's their choice as it was our choice not to do it back then...
probably too silly even for me but if I don't ask I will not know...
...still looking to get more food variety for my animals, do we have the Argentinian wood cockroach (blaptica dubia) here in NZ ?
apparently they are easy to breed and very nutritious. where do you get your larvae from ? (green compost ?) it is so bloody hot at the moment down here there is barely any insects on flowers or bushes.
the SPCA is releasing cats into the wild
instead of putting them down if they can't find a new home for them and that is what worries me... (Gareth Morgan is just stirring and makes people think but he also offered to pay SPCA $5 for each cat they put down instead to release back into the wild)
Bob from SPCA said 'let nature do it, it will balance itself out', I am even more worried about that guy... :dunno:
I will give that a try with some of the juvenile ones once they are old enough not to eat each other or parts of it...
(...and a bit off topic, does someone have a mayan cookbook by any chance ?)
not my wench but what a beauty...

190l Axolotl tank goes up to 21.5 deg but I am busy keeping the temp down to 19 deg with frozen water bottles (I really need a chiller :fshi: 19 deg is still too high)
26 juvenile Axolotl each in solitary confinement, keeping the temperature down with water changes twice a day
I am in Dunedin on Thursday, will go and buy a big fan to gap the time till I can afford a chiller
:gpo2: that's exactly what I am doing as the Axolotl do not endure any kind of water conditioner at all as it does harm them... (it is not standing in the sun but the bubbler is running non stop and every time I take some water out I just refill it)
