  1. Why not? Neither team are winner, I figure we celebrate lossing now so they should get something awesome like that as well. I am sure there is more people ( world wide) who watched the champions league than the Americas cup. And possibly more money was put into it as well.
  2. I wonder if the Otago Volts are going to get a big welcome like the sailing crew? Neither squad won anything, but only one chooked. HMMM ponder ponder ponder
  3. This isnt much help, but looks similar to the bugs I used to find when I worked at a sawmill
  4. I have got a navman with our rental car, just need to know the best order to do them in really. I don't want to go from one side of town to another when I could of gone to a place on the way so I am not double backing. 20-22 October
  5. So the accommodation I have arranged for my trip up to Auckland has all of a sudden just bailed on me. Can anyone suggest a relativly cheap motel please? I am going to several places up there and I have no idea of what area is what but Albony apears 3 times on my list of stops for the weekend. I have a list of suburbs that we going to, but I have no idea of the best/fastest order to get to all the places. I was going to get my mate to work that out for me but now he has bailed on me I do not feel confident in getting him to sort that out for me. Am I able to find a volunter to work this out for me please. Thanks Cam
  6. Your fish will eat it if it comes in a big container or a small container. My bucket normally last me 9-12 months so it was a better option than buying lots of cheap ones. If you look around the site you can pick up other goodies at a great price that does not change shipping much/if at all. Test kits being one of them!
  7. I 100% agree with you Sophia! I have found that Swords, crypts, ferns and lotus are easy, hassel free and lower maintance. ( If I can keep them alive, nobody should have an issue)
  8. And you are welcome to YOUR view point on them being unique, to me they are horrible. Just like not everybody shares my view, others do not share yours, me being one of them. I was not forcing the OP to do that, I was offering a suggestion from my own view point. They do not have to take on my advice, but I do feel it an acceptable suggestion, Re: Ryans comments above. I do not feel ashamed of my orgianal comment, however I should of justifyed my suggestion with an explanation, so that this conversation would not have led to where it has. That I am sorry for. I have read indifferent thoughts on clove oil, and at this stage I have not tryed it. I may look for some for the next time I need to euthanise something.
  9. I have been reading some of the talk on MFK, very interested reading. I have found that NLS cichlid is really well balanced so I am not suprised that this product is suited for many different types of plecos. I might have to add some next time I get some cichlid formula.
  10. Is this the product you are taking David? http://www.kensfish.com/aquarium-suppli ... afers.html
  11. I hope you don't think you have annoyed me, because you havn't. A quick hard blow on the ground in my mind is a lot quicker and painless than other methods. With Captain Hindsight beside me, I realise my comment was rough, so again I am sorry and will try not to be such a keyboard warrior in the future.
  12. I am not a fan of hybrids at all. And I thought if you are looking at selling it off on trademe for a dollar then somebody else will potential get this fish and breed it with some other hybrid and then another hybrid fish pops up under the name of "techno shimmer colour barker African Cichlid" My comment was under no cirrcumstances a dig on your fish, just my desire to not see more hybrid Africans about, and that culling them off in that fashion is the most humain way of doing so. I apoligise if I have caused you distress, my comment was not meant to insight that. I was just expressing my personal opinion on hybrid cichlids.
  13. JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY!!!! Go the Volts!
  14. You could throw them on the ground.
  15. Yip, currently building 6x2x2.5 from memory just as a grow out.
  16. Yip, its advisable to have a good lid set up as they will get out.
  17. Go the Volts, get up you good things!!!
  18. Yes and yes, just gota work out the itinerary in a week or so.
  19. Thanks, will pass that on.
  20. Does anybody need anything taken from Nelson up to Auckland? I am traveling on the 20th of October, and have room to bring some fish up but no room on the way back. All care, no responsibility.
  21. I think Tropheops Chilumba are a great mix with yellows and dems. Also agree with a big group of dems (20+)
