I was having a conversation with someone the day about Mollies eating BBA. Can anyone confirm or deny this please? I have read that they do and have had one or two people say so, but nothing from personal experience. ( Sorry if that is a mistake and it was from PE).

Is a T8 tube going to be strong enough to go with EI ferts? Or am I better off sticking with liquid ferts or going for a stronger light source?

I am currently keeping my plants at around 28-29 as I am planning on adding discus. They are mainly swords, with a couple of lotus some starr grass, and floating indian fern.

Another "have you used this" question... Led lights

I also have the current LED lights. I think they are great, and notice differnt fish react differently to different lighting colours. I do think a bit of those LED's are gimiky, and thus far I have only really used 3 or 4 different colours unless I am showing off my lights to my friends, then I push EVERY button. -

Hi there. I have watched that video of your 240 over and over again, I have also tryed to mimic the stock list before I got carried away and back ground on a smaller scale.

What can go wrong with a certifyed C02 set up Sam? I have never really thought of the chance of things going wrong/heard of anything happening.

Are african cichlids or community fish easier to care for?

Africans I think at least. I have never had much luck with things like rams, certain tetras and mollies and platties. This may ofcourse be because I did the same care routine for them as I did for the Africans. -

I agree, Blu-ray on a MASSSSSSIVE TV is great.My flatmate has million inch TV and I loved watching my blu-rays on it. Since it has gone to his room, the 24incha isnt cutting the blu-ray mustard ( As much)

Growing Algae is not an issue for me at the moement, removing it is. They are the only aglae eating fish in there so it should be sustainable with some veg thrown in and some pellets as well.

Time to play spot the algae. If anyone can name them all please do, this way I can try and over come it. ( I am starting to get frustrated with this tank)

Haha, you will not be saying that when I put up a video and you play spot the algae. There is around 15 Ottos, 70 Lemons and the Zebras

Try crushing the snails on the glass. It will not eradicate the snails, but you may find you fish will eat the snails on the way down. (My lemon tetras LOVE crushed snail).

The tank hasn't been running for 6 months yet, but I will shove a few more around the base of them

I had JBL root balls under the plants. Doing EI salts for water colum ferts.

The plant it self is not yellow, just some of the leaves. So with my phosphate at 1, should I be lookingto increase that to say 1.5 or 2? As plants start to mature I assume they start getting more hungry for nutrients, does this mean after a while I will need to increase all of my ferts or will keeping them the same be ok?

help me help you.... awesome. They have started yellowing, and the first pic yellowing with brown spots.
