  1. welcome:) looks like your off to a great start! good luck :happy1:
  2. yeah anything will work, its just to make a slight coushin under the tank so that any dents, bumps, grit etc that the tank may be sitting on, doesnt put pressure on the tank itself 8)
  3. I tried to get a 4 footer made by him the other day with sliding doors etc but hes going away so i have to try sort out another tank out now, grrrr! Needing one asap but yeah im gonna have to try find someone else to build me one. Is there any chance anyone on here has one for sale? Looking for preferably at least 1200mm long and made fully out of glass with sliding doors, Pm me if yah do:)
  4. awesome fish but blody enormous lol. i havent seen them for ages also but if anyone has them id say wonderworld would be your best bet. im remember seeing them around 5 or 6 years back and they were only like $15 i think which now that i think about it is pretty stupid as it could quite possibly become "cute" pets for people unaware of their potential size and behaviour that are just looking for a cheap, cool looking fish
  5. cheers insectile and youngleo, it looks like greg made these tanks? i could be wrong hah but you can buy the tracks from bunnings for $20-30 for 1.8 meters of top and bottom i think
  6. wow jason! most epic vivariums hay um, what is the name of that creeper jason? or anybody? :dno:
  7. if you have just set it up, the moss will take a while to "kick in" it will be a very dark green for a few weeks then it starts to send bright green shoots up and pretty soon you will have a nice green carpet, just remember to keep it moist
  8. easy, heat tape or cord at the back, holes drilled in side of tubs and dont need uv
  9. Haha okay thought so, anyway thanks for your replies
  10. and water dragon is small aswel, around 30 cm
  11. okay, ill send him a pm. and sorry if im confusing people, its actually going to be an indoor enclosure, 1200mm by 580mm by 700mm (L,W,H), water will be around 170mm high - just before it hits the bottom of the sliding doors (200mm). will have multiple logs, ledges, rocks ets for water dragon. one turtle is roughly 60mm shell length and the other 80-90mm. cheers
  12. Looks good! Keep us updated :gpo2:
  13. Hi everyone, getting a new glass water dragon enclosure sorted and was gonna have it set up like a river bank sorta look with big water area and im most likely getting a couple of small red ear sliders from a guy who is nolonger able to keep them so i was thinking could i put them in with my water dragon? It would save me having to set up a new tank with lights etc for them but if i cant keep them together im still prepared to set up a tank for them. Ive heard before thatred ears can be nippy and that reeves and snake necks tend to be better company for water dragons but then again ive seen people who house red ears and water dragons together outdoors with no problems? So bit unsure... Would just like a bit of advice on it. Cheers 8)
